Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, I moved to Montreal in 2015 where I double major in Journalism and Political Science at Concordia University. My special areas of interest are in environmental issues and international relations.
Throughout my time at Concordia University, I’ve been actively contributing to student papers, The Link and The Concordian. In September 2017, I moved to Europe to participate in the Europe in the World program where I studied at both Hogeschool University in Utrecht and the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus.
I have spent a significant amount of time overseas, including in Hawaii, Nepal, Ecuador and a backpacking trip of Europe, prior to my studies. I also spent a month in Taipei, Taiwan teaching English at a kid’s summer camp. Having moved from an English-speaking part of Canada to its French-speaking region, I have had to experience the growing curb of advancing my second language skills as well as confront cultural differences within my home country.
